Kahled said in his interview last week no approaches had been made for Duff but the club were prepared for every possibility someone's telling porkies.
Darren Moore is a classy bloke but I wouldn’t want him to be our manager. I honestly don’t think he’s that good a coach.
Did well with donny before Wednesdays poached him. Got Wednesday a record points total. Okay he had a good squad for league one but so did duff.
Meh they faltered down the stretch, got almost blown out of the competition in the first playoff game, and fluked by us. Anyone think he was gonna keep them up this year? Best done now
Think he deserved the chance to try. He got them believing and they finished the season strongly after getting their record points total
Just a shot in the dark and probably way off the mark but is it out of the question that faced with the probability that duff is going we put in a cheeky approach to Washday and Moore showed interest given the reaction of the piggies fans to him so the tuna man chucked his teddy out of the pram and sacked Moore it wouldn't be the first time he's done it.
Were any further proof required that they are a club rotten to the core then this is it. Clueless, classless scum. Just heard on the radio they are looking at Gary O’Neil, the other poor sod who got sacked today for delivering success. I really hope that this is the end of Bournemouth’s time at the top too. Should we be relieved of Duff I would welcome Darren Moore home with open arms.
I am in agreement with your theory, WR. Without any further development/investment that squad has so many ageing players that I could not see them surviving in the Championship. Even one of their better players like Windass seems to think that he is too good for them. It has been notable that the only signing they have made is from non-league, as far as I can see. I would think that DM talked to Chansiri about recruitment and was given an answer we could predict, so DM has little option but to jack it in now, knowing that he is not going to be backed with transfer funds sufficient to construct a team competitive at Championship level. Real nice guy, DM. I hope that he gets somewhere in League One, or Two where he can show his man management skills again by getting the best out of sound and hard-working players. Classy leaving statement as well from him, especially in contrast to the club statement.
Darren Moore, decent bloke and a very good win ratio. I wish him all the best now he’s away from Hillsboro.
which makes you think that it is a mixture of press talk and Swansea dreamland. No official approach notified. No permission granted for Swansea to speak to Duff. He's under contract here for two more years. Don't let us down, BFC.
Not officially a sacking, but maybe hes walked before he was about to be pushed. Daz deserves better than that, and he's better off without the loathsome Fowls. He will find another club again soon, no problem.
I can understand that view for me, if managers are going to leave at the drop of a hat then I can appreciate that clubs have to make the hard calls like this Wednesday still crazy club tho
Take him here right now, if Duff goes. The right type of person for us. Honest professional who will set a high standard. And 96 points with a promotion last season is great, however you look at it
