Some good points. The season just gone would have represented considerable progress, if we had won at Wembley. If Duff and Andersen both leave, then we regress again, just as we did when Ismael and Mowatt left, after almost making it to the Premier League. I am not expecting a similarly disastrous season to the one following their departure, but it is so frustrating that just missing out on promotion could put us back to square one. If Duff and Mads were both to stay, and if we could then strengthen in one or two positions, principally in attack, then you could call it progress, but, alas,it seems that is not going to happen.
Let’s hope both sources are wrong as if it is £500k we should give up including release clauses especially at that low amount moving forward. Championship clubs should be looking at 2m easy.
Swansea forum lot are saying they're surprised they are going for a manager they need to pay compo for, not what they do as they're skint. Maybe it's not a lot then.
Their first two choices have turned em down so probably out of necessity. Or would have to go for an out of work coach
We've given permission for Duff to talk to Swansea or we've not given Duff permission would be a start!
If a club meets the release clause he's gone. I know that you know that it's up to him. Just tell me if he's gone and that we're working on a replacement ASAP that will do.
I'll say it again if anybodies bothered the only way he's going or gone if you believe reports is if the board have pulled the rug from him and gone back or their word...and yes we have history of doing so
I want them to confirm or deny Duff has spoken to Swansea, followed by our CEO singing Despacito acapella.
And unfortunatley If he does go he's gone back on his word too.Theres no evidence whatsoever that the board of gone back on there word ,I don't even know what they have said to go back on.
