    Someone politely tried to explain how cricket worked to me last year on here, still don't have a clue about it. Don't know how the scoring system works or anything. A blemish on my standing as a Yorkshireman no doubt :D

    I understand the scoring, I just don't understand the appeal. I got into the IPL about 10 years ago when I was working in the bookies. That was much more enjoyable than a test match/series etc.

    Some on here will sympathise with you mate. You might have heard about our trip down to Plymouth in 2009ish, where the game was abandoned on the hour mark with us 4-1 up. A 600 mile round trip for nothing. We drew the replayed game 0-0, on a cold Tuesday night in February.
