Karl Robinson had a bigger budget at Oxford than we did if reports are to be believed. Didn't exactly cover himself in glory there.
I've heard Wilder suggested a few times on here. Let's just clarify a few things, Wilder wants to be a manager, he wants near enough total control of the football side / operation and that includes transfers. Now straight away that says to me he won't fit in with the way BFC works, he ain't going to let BFC dictate what players he must play and how many minutes they should play per game. I'd be shocked if he ended up with us and I just can't see it happening.
You might be onto something there. Labi Siffre lives in Abergavenny, which is in Wales, as is Swansea. Could be a part exchange deal going down, and Labi is probably better suited to manage BFC than a couple of recent managers I could mention.
My choice Eric Ramsey.Same school as Mckenna at Ipswich, highly regarded. Was linked with Blackpool recently and with us last season before Duff took over.
Wasn't he Man United's set piece coach and got removed because they had the worst conversion of set pieces in the league? Personally rather us go for someone with more experience than that at this stage.
We normally look for young up and coming from ether L1 L2.. add to that a second in command somewhere. Or up and coming from Scotland or even back abroad again. Someone who will be happy not to have full control over transfers and such, and just be happy to have the chance to make their name
That's the way I see it.. normally go for someone like that. Never be a Moore Wilder or Jones. Theyd want too much say.. and money
