Don't always agree with your opinions, but I do always find your posts interesting and well-written on various subjects. I'm incredibly disappointed with Duff's departure for a number of reasons and also now have few links remaining with the town of Barnsley itself (although still plenty in wider South Yorkshire to be fair). I've just moved back to the UK and will continue to attend Oakwell regularly, but I'd be lying if I said the latest departure hasn't tested my resolve. The point is, this fantastic community we have here is so much more than just a football forum. Even if you're no longer particularly invested in BFC or football in general, it's still a place worth visiting and contributing to. When I was living for the majority of the time outside the UK, it was one of the best ways for me to keep my finger on the pulse as to what was going on in the country in general. Even if I fell out of love with football so much that I chalked fck under BFC, I would still check in on here regularly.
I find it best just to take a break from the BBS now and again. It's certainly not a place to debate anything but it is funny sometimes, you find out as soon as anywhere else any new info and there are some genuinely nice people here.
You’ll be back mate and I mean that in the nicest sense, anybody that can write so lovingly about a club won’t be able to just walk away.
