Either of these two would be excellent. The owners should push the boat out to get one orcthe other. Wilder would be a great coup and a statement of real ambition.
Salary won’t be enough to attract Wilder. I doubt he’d fancy working with a very limited transfer budget either.
Wilder. However, his last two managerial ventures have been failures. Mick McCarthy, Moore, Robinson or Wilder for me.
We can’t afford Wilder and he could easily land a championship job if we waited, can’t see him even entertaining it. Wellens on the other hand, 2 league 2 titles and an EFL Trophy to his name at 43 years old, that’s some record, he’s from the north as well so I think we could easily tempt him
Wilder's stock as a manager, as never been lower. I think he would jump at the chance to stay local and boss a squad that should get him another promotion on his CV. I don't want him BTW, just saying
Not sure Wellens would be that interested. Orient have just won promotion to the same league as us and he might feel there’s plenty of potential there.
Absolutely zero chance of Wilder. Why is Nathan Jones not getting a mention? Not even listed with bookies…..
