Yes let’s sell the club away from the current directorship who have rebuilt from the mess we were in, restored a bit of belief and are getting the house in order off the field.

Let’s bring in someone who will promise the world and pull the rug like Wigan have had. Leaving us in a proper mess. That’ll be good.

By ‘ambitious’ I assume you mean prepared to spend a **** load of money the club doesn’t have? Yeah, recipe for long term success and happiness that. Definitely.

Belt up man. An out of contract player who wasn’t a regular first teamer has gone to Bristol Rovers, a goalkeeper who was never ours has signed for a different league one club much closer to his current base.

And the lying snake of a manager upped and left at the first opportunity despite him saying he would not do that and despite the board doing everything they could to keep him, including offering a lucrative new deal to him.

So the board have to appoint a new manager. And are going through a process to make sure it’s the right one, not just the first one they think of.

What more do you actually want the board to do?

Ridiculous post. I’m glad our board ‘knows about football’ a bit more than you.

What we know is that last time this happened training was a waste of time, people Messing about, high jinx fkery and they were unfit, an absolute joke. So the longer this goes on the more likely the season is to be a shambles.

It is incredibly frustrating as we have been here before all too often. It will be even more frustrating if we spend all season hearing about how the upheaval in the summer led to a slow start.

Doesn't mean that it wouldn't be better to have a head coach around to welcome everyone back and set the tone for the season though. Swansea certainly seemed to think it was a good idea!

Having said that, when actually was the last time we had a manager in post on day 1? Genuine question. Can't remember if Schopp was here in time, but I don't think he was. Hecky?

Presumably he means each additional day from when we start that we go on without a appointment will compound the situation further.

True but its been known a lot longer that he was off. Suppose it will depend I if who we want is in a job or not.

That's not how long Duff and the Club have known he was on his way though. I suspect it's been at least 2 weeks, possibly longer. If it's another week, possibly two before the new manager comes in, that's a month planning & prep lost.

The same coaches what took the training day in & day out last season will be taking the training minus Duff who used to miss out on a lot off the day to day stuff anyway , unless I am missing something there is only Duff that has left the building so far , so why will the training etc be a fiasco like you are predicting ?

Would hope the interview process will have started this weekend and would like to think we’re in a position to announce someone by the end of this week but it’s Barnsley fc so who knows.

Of course this could have been the big news, exciting journey, that Khaled was intimating.
    There's ways of saying things.
Goebbels was pretty good at it and he could fool most people most of the time.

Yeah, I think comparing Khaled with Joseph Goebbels might be a tad OTT like.

I think he was referring to Fred Goebbels from Grimethorpe. Wasn't a nazi, just nasty.

Are you on drugs or alcohol or both?
Think that's the craziest post I've seen on here in years.
