Funny as it undoubtedly is, that tweet feels very disrespectful to BFC and those that got him away from Barton's subtle man management skills, gave him numerous chances on the pitch to perform, but the facts are he didn't take it. " lost time" "Lt phone home" ......hmmmmm....good luck to him, hope he makes it, but he had ample chance here.
He might be one who took less money to go back home. He's not quite turned into the player I thought he might after the Fulham match, but I think he'll do well for Rovers.
No, we won't get somebody as good, unless we unearth an absolute gem. And we will have to compensate elsewhere (e.g. better forwards and/or a good replacement for B Thomas). But my point was, while we can't get somebody as good as Andersen is now, we can't be thinking we can replace him with an equivalent of Andersen when he first signed. If we do that, and expect Cundy/Moon/McCarthy to take the third CB spot with Kitching, and sell Williams expecting Cotter to replace him, then our goalkeeper will be a busy player next season!
