    Just to be clear. I think one side can get lucky without the other being unlucky. What I’m saying is they were lucky we made so many poor basic errors.

    You’re right cos the young lad has been called up to the squad as cover for Moeen.

    He’s still very young but he’s shaping up to be a decent batsman… just remembered his name .. Ahmed

    Robinson needs to stop being a clown in the press, get fit, and concentrate on getting blokes out instead of swearing at them when they've got 130.

    He was at Yorkshire a few years ago but basically got kicked out for being a naughty boy.
    I’m not suggesting it was for bad language but I do know he had several warnings for bad discipline

    Yeah it finishes Monday. Thanks to The Hundred their game has got more eyes on it than ever before, so five days and a test ground has been afforded to them.

    I've been impressed with how well they have played. Both teams. Some good run rates.

    I've been watching the Women's Ashes each morning for the past three days.

    I've just seen Tammy Beaumont break the all-time record for the highest England Test score, and now she's just joined the 200 run innings club.

    The previous record has stood since 1935, held by the wonderfully named Betty Snowball.

    We've also just passed the highest team score against Australia.

    I never realized we had a Women's team back in 1935, and certainly not one that jumped on a ship and toured Australia and New Zealand for six months.

    I'm enjoying this, as I did with the Men's first Test. Pity it runs from roughly 03:00-10:00 PST, but as an early riser, I manage to catch a few hours per day.

    IMO drop him, we've got a frontline test bower trundling in late in the day bowling around 70mph. It's embarrassing. Last summer he seemed to be fitter and bowling a bit quicker but I don't know if he's reverted back to his old ways. Absolutely agree that he needs to keep his mouth shut too.
