Fatboy and Manics both looked off the scale awesome. Last saw Fatboy on Brighton Beach in 2002. He's most definitely still got it.

Saw the Manics many times back in the day, but lost interest a while ago. Looked on top form yesterday though.

Rick Astley was a bit odd, though I must admit I was very impressed with his drum skills!

    Great band.

You mention in another post the amount of studio effects that go on vocals, but James Dean Bradfield is pretty much flawless live, including his falsetto parts. He seems to have a better top range than a lot of women even.

I'd no idea War on Drugs had become as big as they have. I remember seeing 'em at The Harley in Sheffield in 2011, when they did Slave Ambient. Just after Kurt Vile left and did Smoke Ring for My Halo...that's a brilliant album.

I think James has perfected a more economic, paced way of delivering a song as he gets older. Which works for them, but wouldn’t for GnR.. :)

I was aware of them, just never had a proper listen. Sound great, didn’t catch many lyrics..
Is fighting a war against drugs, or fighting a war under the influence OF drugs? They didn’t say..?:)

I saw the Manics ages ago then they got very samey. New stuff was good recently. Always a good show
Rick Astley is different and the smiths set with the blossoms was a good listen but I would have liked some Blossoms own material too
Always loved FatBoy Slim. Was looking for the Carl Cox set but that isn't on iPlayer

The one song I hoped he'd play is the one he opened with - "Pinball Wizard".

Can switch off at will now.
