Haha possibly that, or he couldn’t be arsed and was fed up of carrying the team half the time.

Are the accounts still to be published that show what fees we brought in during the accounting period that Morris, Woodrow etc were sold?

Still cant believe PC said that to me in front of a full No.7 - bare faced lie. Flicker had been in chronicle a few weeks prior saying how good he was and Hassel saying he was a rolls royce of a player.

One example of how relegation clauses can bite. When Wigan went down (all our fault), they sold a player that was close to a £10m sale to Milan the January prior (Robinson) to a Prem club (Fulham) for just £1.5m. When you’re a championship club, and you sign a player from another championship club, they’re likely going to have these clauses to protect themselves from the drop.

Year left on a contract ,we have no idea whatsoever that the agents insert to these contracts.
We're just coming up with figures that we beleive to be correct.
Wages offered by other clubs turn players heads.
So what's the point of keeping players here who want to be away.
It all turned out great for Brittain didn't it.
It's tough for owners who try to stay afloat without creating huge debts like Wigan etc...
Calling BFC out for selling players is old hat .
We have always done it .
We have had other teams trousers down, redders going to Charlton, curry to Forrest .
Centre half to Fowls years ago help me out kev played along side macca

We let him go for what we could get at the point in time when we needed to sell him.
Why is this so hard for people to understand? Time and time again we get the same old ridiculous statements. We, like virtually every other club, are a selling club. Always have been. It's what we have to do to survive. Just like clubs like Wycombe Wanderers and Forest Green are when we poach their players.
If we'd stayed in the Championship we'd probably have kept Morris unless we received a much bigger offer. We didn't and had to sell at whatever price we could get.
We could have kept him and got promoted if he'd stayed fit. His record suggested there was a fair chance he'd have had lengthy injuries all season, missed out on promotion and ended up a further 1.3 million plus his wages in the hole.
I'd love to see all the moaners about us selling players cheap putting their life savings into keeping said players. I very much doubt there'd be many takers.

Nothing to do with relegation he failed a medical with an irregular heartbeat that affected his value more.

But what did we pay for him?. There is a football food chain. I'd bet that was a decent profit

Compared to say Luke Thomas.. I'd say winner winner chicken dinner on this one

That is why his move to Milan fell through, but he was back playing and got a move to a premier league club, and the fee was set by a relegation clause. As it was for Joe Williams

He was back playing, he played at Oakwell towards the end of that season, and should've been sent off. Sent someone cartwheeling.

Yep, any bad foul in a rugby or football match, I cannot resist the temptation to shout "GET HIM OFF THE FIELD!"
