Can’t keep up with Yorkshire signings … Steketee an Aussie bowler and Moriarty a spinner on loan. Bess is not playing in current game so maybe he’s rested
I’d missed that … didn’t Bess come to us initially on loan ? Could be same with Moriarty and then Bess moving on ?
Good red ball player Mark Steketee. Happy with that signing. Pretty average in the Big Bash for Brisbane Heat, but that's OK as he won't be playing the format for us. Moriarty I know nothing about. Surprised we loaned out Bess when he's been a first team regular. Maybe a case of saving cash on a higher earner with a cheap replacement.
This loan system is totally out of control. Warwickshire have signed Bess for 1 game, to cover Ali I assume. They are a rich county surely they have players in the seconds able to step up.
At least he’s in a different league but why didn’t Warwickshire go for Moriarty. Perhaps we want shut of Bess
The 3 century makers are 21, 21 and 22 years old. We’ve also got Wharton who is 22 and has a T20 century already. I’m sure that Masood is better than he’s showing but when is he going to prove it ?
Bess took 2/159 against Essex, can they keep him for more games? Also, can we give Steketee back? He looks dogs.
Rubbish again from Adam Lyth, in what has been a massive innings score. A decision has got to be made here, surely!.
Hope this works https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spo...kshire-ccc-in-azeem-rafiq-racism-case-4198513 Let's hope the points deductions apply this year as it wouldn't make much difference as we are unlikely to achieve owt. Royal london 50 overs competition the only one we may.
I think Root, Bairstow, and Brook should all pull out of the Ashes in team unity. The players playing now haven't done a thing wrong and being punished because they now won't win anything this season due to the actions of others.
I will never understand why in cricket the clubs have to play when they lose players to England, doesn't happen in football. Imagine Man City etc having to play without their best players and it seems to hinder Yorkshire more then most.
