    Very good point. To be honest I'd just assumed that Patterson would be going with him, but that may not actually be the case. It's not like Patterson has always worked with Duff, it was their first season together. Patterson and Devaney would make complete sense to me. Continuity is what's needed, not disruption.

    Disco as seen good and bad managers and if hes been watching and learning he should beable to give it a real good go, hope so anyway,if he can get a good start i think hell do well, its wen things arent going so well wen a bit of luck is needed,hope hes got wat it takes just hope being knew to job doesnt make him panik, hell av to believe in wat hes doing.cmon disco.

    Why is Devaney still on holiday, he’s just tweeted that now. If the players are back why aren’t they management team?

    Seems like a ******* circus at the minute, before you all start with.. ‘the players are only going through fitness checks’…

    In Denmark at the moment, I believe. Luton announced their 'first signing' yesterday - Chiedozie Ogbene - so the Mads deal not yet complete, I'm guessing.

    I’m sure people will say it’s no problem, but it doesn’t feel great to me, when pre-season has started but we have no manager and the AM is still on a beach.

    Doesn’t make any sense to me either. We all knew pre season was due to start on the 26/06 and regardless of what transpires surely allowing one set of people to do one thing and the rest to another is a sign that not everything is cohesive behind the scenes. The season finished a month ago plenty of time for a couple of weeks away in that time.

    Absolute circus down at jokewell. It clearly isn’t Devaney as he’s on holiday, have we even been interviewing candidates? We haven’t heard one name actually linked with the job beyond speculation. I can’t even be arsed with next season already, the enthusiasm levels have sunk right to the bottom!
