This morning I’d noticed he was at 10s. Not sure what he was yesterday though.

Looks like someone or a few people have lumped on.

He seems a bit of bell but I’d take him.

Dave Challinor went from 16/1 to 10/1 yesterday and now 8-1, another mover.

Moore has gone to 12/1 he had been 5/1 for a while until today

He's not everyone's cup of tea as a person that's for sure but can't argue with his credentials as a manager.

I'd be very surprised if he ended up here given his last job was in Prem but let's see what happens. Just hope whoever we get in is appointed soon.

Agree that he's a bit of an irritating knob but for what he achieved at Luton I'd be well happy with him.
The bonus is that if he did well he's not as likely to get head hunted after his failures at Stoke and Southampton.

Challinor would be my pick every day of the week. His CV is remarkable.

I know he didn’t really have many fans but surely Davey is our longest serving manager of the past 20 years or so? Kept us in the championship and got us to an FA Cup semi.

Agree, he’s the one I’m hoping for too, I’m sure I read someone say Stockport has a load of money and we’ll struggle to get him, hopefully that’s not the case

Would be a much better option than Devaney.

Looking at his record on wiki and transfermarkt, I’m sold on him now. Wouldn’t come out with the spiel we had with Duff, instead would be straight talking.

If he could repeat what he achieved at Luton, I don’t think anyone could argue.

Probably getting ahead of myself here though as we all know bookies’ odds often don’t mean much.

    I’d take Jones any day.

Has to prove himself again, and should realise he has to rebuild the trust for 2-3 years.

The processes and systems he put in place at Luton cannot be underestimated, and they align with our own club too.

For me, he should be our no1 target. He’s gone for the ‘grass is greener’ approach, and failed. Now is the time for him to knuckle down and work.
