    Nothing in papers saying we’ve approached any other clubs for their manager and no rumours of the club interviewing anyone neither says to me it’s Devaney’s job already.

    The lack of gossip might suggest that the appointment is either internal or a manager based abroad. Given the old boys network in the EFL and the propensity of UK based agents to talk up their clients the silence since Duff upped sticks would suggest we're fishing in different pools. If I was an agent representing a potential candidate and knowing both Wednesday and us were seek new gaffers then I'd be trying to get a bidding war going.
