    Whatever you think about his departure surely with Duff we cottoned on to the right formula for a HC, ie someone with good fairly recent playing experience, who has had some success at the top end of the league below and/or the league we are in with a 'smaller' club. I'd like to see someone along the same lines again.

    I'd say Jones success at Luton says more for the recruitment and retention at that club from wily old Mick Harford down than anything about Jones own transferable skills.

    Signed a 3 year contract and less than 6 weeks later left Hartlepool for Stockport after being approached without permission.

    Fairly sure I told Jones I'd drop him if he came anywhere near the West Stand on his last visit, with his whinging at the 4th official and he timewasting tactics.. He was bricking it big time. Maybe he is biding his time to check I have migrated to the East.
