    Im not arguing his stats mate, they’re top notch. I just didn’t like his attitude in his second season with Sheffield United, he was constantly attacking the club, lost the dressing room and just seemed a completely different bloke. Then his last two spells worry me, the boro fans really don’t like him. I’ll have to dig into that more tomorrow with John (boro fan at work) and see what it was all about.

    Who do I want? I’m honestly not sure pal, I’m still morngy that we lost Michael Duff in all honesty and I’ve not got back on the horse yet, so to speak. Possibly the Stockport gaffer? I like the sound of him.

    It just worries me when we go for a big name, I’m sure if it is Wilder he will do a sterling job.

    It was obvious Duff was moving on but you kept saying it didn't appear so (despite a number of media outlets saying otherwise) and you called people out on it. It's like you were waiting for the official BFC announcement.

    Wilder has to rebuild his reputation to an extent after his spells at Boro and Watford so this appointment may not be as crazy as it sounds. As a club we're now a stepping stone for anyone, League one arguably looks weaker this coming season with the exception of Derby who will rightly be championship favourites, Wilder lives in the area and he's settled. Take us up or play offs and like Duff he's probably off to a championship club and the first one that comes calling. Still think it's likely to be Disco but let's wait and see.
