Most likely a volume of bets purely based on the rumours on here/social media that seem to have little substance to them. It's not a big market - if you're not a Barnsley fan you're not betting on our next manager. I don't see it being right with how it's not being picked up by any media outlets. For what it's worth I think it'd be a great appointment, but an Eric Ramsay/Brian Barry-Murphy is more Barnsley.
Out of interest, how many bookies actually had this bet available? Was it all of em or just one? Googled it and all I could find was one link to betvictor. I know nowt about betting or bookies. Just wondered.
I disagree, I think in the Championship, the expectation wouldn't be as great on him as it would in league 1.
Come coach one of the favourites in what's looking like the easiest league one in years. Finish in the top six so just match what Micky Long Haul did and in 12 months time he will be in the Championship for us or someone else.
