    Crazy talk. Luca Connell is absolutely vital to our chances.

    He’s our best player by a country mile.

    That’s not to say I want Kitching to go, I see him as the next captain. But if it was a straight choice I don’t need long to think.

    That’s half of the problem with some of our fans, we lack ambition and just accept being lied to every year. Smaller clubs than ours are competing higher up not getting dismantled ever year.

    Do you know how someone just made up a rumour about Wilder last week and posted it on here? Has anyone considered the same with this Coventry thread? :D Can't see us selling a player we have just signed to a 3-year deal for a pittance to anyone. I don't think we need to sell anyone now the Mads deal is done so I'd guess they'll have to pay top dollar IF there is any truth whatsoever, which I doubt.

    The last electrician we signed, from Dewsbury, did alright for us. Anton Otulakowski.

    Unless I have his trade wrong. Gas fitter, or electrician - one of those.

    You're right but I suspect there are a lot of youths amongst them. No sense of history:

    Tommy Taylor gone - that's me finished
    David Hirst gone - that's me finished
    Mick McCarthy gone - that's me finished
    Larry May, Craig Hignett, Ashley Ward, Sam Winnall.........you get the picture.

    We sell players, we buy players. Same goes for the management. How some think that everybody is a Norman Rimmington or a Barry Murphy just baffles me. The rotation of staff might come round more than we would like but that's how it is. I've been used to looking at our players in July/August and saying "who is that?" for a long time now and that's not going to change....ever.

    Search "kitching Coventry" and you see a post from a Coventry fan account saying CBs that they would sign. And one Derby fan replying to a tweet saying he's in talks.

    And the club are getting pelters for selling him for peanuts. Unbelievable.
