Following the appointment of Neill Collins, is your glass:

  1. Full - I think this is a well researched and forward thinking appointment, kudos to the board…

  2. Half Full - It’s a bit of a punt, but he’s played 500 league games in England and 5 years coaching

    59.5%
  3. Half Empty - I’m disappointed we didn’t go for someone with experience of League One

    2.0%
  4. Empty - He’s coaching in a pub league and will do well to finish in the top half…

Definitely half full. The more info about Collins, his interviews etc that have surfaced over the last few hours add a few more ml to my glass. But, it's what he delivers on the pitch that counts, so I will put my glass away till mid October-ish, the re-evaluate.

Bit of a punt means a gamble, but surely this applies to them all. Based on that and the rest of the descriptors I have gone FULL.

More than half full, but not quite to the brim.
Think of me as half a bitter, topped up with just enough lemonade to not be termed a shandy.

Looking forward to a stable pre-season, see what we do in the market then looking forward to my new seat in the East in that ph0oking beautiful new home shirt.

    You Reds, etc .......

Eternal optimist, so full , nothing is ever certain but young coach with it seems similar style of play, looking forward to the new season. If we can keep the nucleus of the team I think we'll be fine

Half full think I would only go full if pep had come fetching city's owners with him lol. Is 4/5yrs coaching at his level better than 2yrs lower efl level who knows everything you read seen about his style and character is a good fit very hopeful.

Over half full. Would be better if he'd managed in L1 before, but other than that he sounds like a perfect fit. The fact he's already been successful in his own right as a head coach is welcome, unlike Schopp, Poya or Morais. I think it could be a shrewd bit of business.
