    Same as the Blackburn game, it's not going ahead because reasons. I don't know how much more transparency you people want from the club.

    Whatever you think of the benefits or not of pre season friendlies, I think we can all admit...

    1) Ours have been a shambles.

    2) It's shoddy of us to cost a non league club cash at this late stage.

    If it was against Blackburn or Hull or Crewe I’d definitely agree, not sure about against Guiseley compared to an inter squad match. Regardless it’s p*ss poor to let down Guiseley a couple of days before the game is due.

    I didn’t realise anyone was slating the board. It was a throwaway comment, don’t take it so seriously. Obviously it sounds a bit rubbish for Guiseley, but I can’t get excited about pre-season friendlies one way or the other. Soz.

    Had Duff stayed this game would have gone ahead I’m sure, it was arranged when he was here and I presume he had a say on the friendly schedule.

    Likewise had Collins been appointed a week earlier or a week later it may have gone ahead.

    Collins has come in with a month to get the team ready and wants to make the most of that time by having both first and u21 players together on the training pitch for the first week.

    That said it doesn’t look good on us, cancelling it is no skin off our nose but it’s probably a big deal financially for them. Id like to think we’d look after them by either compensating them, sending the u18s or promising a fixture for the next 2 seasons maybe
