Dissing BFC

    As a passionate Barnsley supporter since the mid 1960's I often get bemused at some supporters who take great delight in telling others how rubish BFC are.For a start players whether good bad or indifferent are doing a job that none of us can do so is some of it related to jealousy?
    Growing up there was the constant folk who always claimed "they don't want to go up".Some years we didn't go up but some seasons we did so what was the motives behind these claims unless its purely to say I told you so as if there prediction was a fact.
    Nowadays due to social media and dare I say football forums the slagging off of all things BFC related as got worse is it becauise things are that bad or is it because people can by hiding behind a computor screen?
    I've always took the view that supprting your football team comes with highs and lows but to enjoy the highs you've got to experience the lows.I feel some can't except the lows at any stage it's got to be rosey all the time.
    Anyway I'll finish by saying ,in my view you should always be proud of the club you support.

    I think a lot of it is down to expectation and/or frustration mate. We all want Barnsley to do well. I want 'em to win the Champions League one day. So, when folk slag em off its not that they're not fans, they just want better performances and results over time. Will never change I suspect even if BFC get back in Premier League, some fans will want more and more....

    The armchair critics are active on all forms of social media & forums etc , you only have to read some of the threads when you come back from a match & see all the posts & the times they are posted & for those who say you can do it on your phone whilst at the match well yes you can, but some post so many times they can never actually be watching the games .

    It'll be crap. If we get back in the Premier League and only finish 4th I want to get into the Champions League as Champions. I want my stick of Coil back. Bah humbug. :)

    I’d just like a well maintained cared for ground that is fit the 21st century rather than one that’s not fit for purpose even for the 20th century. Pride in my team is a given. But Pride also comes from the visual you give out and we as fans are being let down
