    Hopefully the fact that this is historical and the current board have investigated it, made the changes and reported it to the EFL, will be seen in our favour and lessen any potential sanctions.
    This confirms largely what most of us already know about Conway and Lee and you never know, this could be the impetus that gets rid of them both away from the club for good.

    Unfortunately it may mean the current club and board paying the price of Conway yet again ☹️

    I'm no legal eagle, but the fact that the club have requested this investigation themselves tells me it's a plan to finally oust Chien Lee and Conway from the club altogether. Short term pain for long term gain and all that.

    Must admit I’m a bit concerned here. As for mitigation with a new board helping uncover the wrongs of previous ownership I expect Luton fans might have a poor opinion on how that works
    Given how lenient the EFL have been with Derby Reading Birmingham etc on offences that really affect the quality of the tream you would hope we get some suspended sentence but it wouldn’t surprise me if we get a significant points deduction and fine

    Yes. Absolutely.

    The club instigating this to enable them to get rid of Conway & Chien is the first thought I had when I read it.

    I suspect Conway making himself CEO was also an issue.

    I’m not particularly worried about this long term. The club clearly wanted to clean and clear the decks, and this is part of it.
