Could have been but the. Just how bad was neeravs communication with the CEO if for about a year he never said anything like "so how did you hear about us?" At which point Dane would have mentioned the others.
Only just read this. What an absolute kick in the b0llocks this is. I don't even know where to start. Just feels like the wheels are falling off, again. I sincerely hope Collins & Stead were made aware of this before they joined. The untold damage that Conway and Lee are causing, to every Club they touch, is just unforgivable. They should be struck from Club ownership.
All these unknown money men in the club and we've been scouting players from teams like Connahs Quay. Ffs
Sad to think that Patrick sold out to those that have created this mess. I'm sure he wasn't squeaky clean, none of us are, but ye gods, what a to-do.
He started this mess the moment he "safeguarded the club" by selling off half the stadium and separating the footballing side from the ground. Thanks to him no one in their right mind will touch us. That's why we have these scheisters running the show and they wouldn't be here if they'd done their due diligence regarding the stadium.
I think plenty of people were concerned about the takeover. Being an investment vehicles play thing set off alarms for me and others.
Considering the nature of this thread and dodgy business dealings I assume you mean King Ronnie Wallwork
Really? Had he not done what he did, Conway & Lee may well have been 100% owners. Personally I think that's the thing that's saved us.
Sorry, maybe I didn't explain properly. As I remember it being described, he knew Billy Beane from his previous US soccer team. I don't think he knew the other shareholders but was aware that Conway's shares weren't all his own. Presumably, he thought the other owners were aware of this and it got mentioned in passing. Not sure how you can infer something about Neerav's communication with the CEO based on that.
We have to remember that Patrick was dying, and knew that he was. He was desperate to sell, and couldn't have known that his only buyer was a snake-oil salesman.
I was uncomfortable not knowing who really owned the club, with the blanket term of 'investors' used from the start. This unfortunately doesn't surprise me.
I don't want to single people out on but they definitely do. There was loads when they 1st took over clamouring over the billionaire title. Obviously got less and less since but there the worst owners we have ever had bar none.
