    Im not bothered he’s leaving, I understand it. I just find it criminal that the club do not find a replacement first. We are seriously going into this new season very light and we’re leaving it late. If we for once got our own house in order and gave a full squad a full pre season together we might find that we’re not that bad. We always start off poorly because this club chooses profit over performance.

    Presume he's contract is up in June 2024? If so, then this is the last chance of us being able to get a decent fee for him.

    Do you ever have to anything positive to say about Barnsley Football Club? I know you consider yourself a supporter, I just wonder what the word 'support' means to you? I've struggled to find a single positive or complimentary post from you all last season, despite us getting to the play-off finals. Almost everything is a criticism. Why?

    Championship level keeper at a league one club with 12 months of his contract to run.

    No brainer he'd leave and that we'd sell.

    They just sold Gyokeres (sp) for about £20m.
    Prime Barnsley would be holding out for an extra £1k knowing how well off Cov were. ............ Halcyon days.

    Also doesn’t hide the fact we’ve lost three very good goalkeepers in the last six months and now have a Swansea reserve keeper and the second choice from Hartlepool fighting for that spot. As much as I know we’ll sign another, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him at the same calibre as the other two.

    The club seems in a real mess at the moment and has been an absolute disaster since the 123rd minute at Wembley.

    We literally signed a new keeper last week that's 27 years old & played nearly 200 professional games.
