Doesn’t surprise me at all. We would have had the same sort of issues had we won promotion in Val’s season. All to do with getting the ground up to speed viz media and dressing rooms etc

We only had media and toilet issues all with the West Stand.

Although our dressing rooms are relatively modern they are not up to PL requirements either

The whole topic was given a thorough airing on the bbs during the build up to the play offs that season and to be perfectly honest with you I cannot remember the details as to why they aren’t up to muster for the PL, but I think it is because they are just not big enough to accommodate the number of personnel that is deemed necessary for PL teams

They are, have you not been in them? The problem was the West Stand.

I may well be wrong, but...

The dressing rooms we had when we were last in the Premier League may well no longer be up to speck (they were very small), but we moved out of those years ago. I'd be very surprised if the (relatively) new ones wouldn't meet requirements.

It was the west stand ones that were mentioned not the north stand ones. I've just read the thread. It was initially about moving the tunnel and changing rooms back into the west stand, Gordon Owen said that was it possible as the west stand changing rooms were too small.

Fair enough but why were we even discussing the possibility of moving them back into the West stand?

Because someone was suggesting that if we got promoted we should move the changing rooms and tunnel back to the halfway line

I’ve been in both the North and West stand dressing rooms and as far as
I’m concerned the latter were too small the day they were built

It's a room to get changed in. Don't see why it matters the one game that each prem team will play at Luton next year. Pandered, pampered primadonas!

It’ll not just be a question of the dressing rooms, the tv gantries and press rooms will need upgrading as well I guess.

I'd hardly call the changing room requirements 'pampered' literally the only requirement is a minimum size.

K.11.Each Club shall provide two dressing rooms for Players (one for the Home Club and one for the Visiting Club) the minimum area of which in each case (excluding showers, baths and toilets) shall be 30m². In addition, each Club shall provide one or more additional dressing room(s) for Match Officials, ensuring suitable separate accommodation for any female Match Official appointed.

Are they still playing on that appalling plastic giant subbuteo pitch thing these days ?.
Seriously though, who cares whether they and Mads can play any Premier games at home this season.

Ohh great, that's good to hear, but that shows how little I care about Luton Fc.
