    I couldn’t give a toss about friendly results we beat Sheffield united last season they then went on to win promotion to premier league . If no players got injured that’s good enough for me .

    In my time supporting Tarn I've found that friendly results are generally inversely proportional to how we do in the season. I'm disappointed we didn't lose 20 - 0

    It’s not ideal, but it’s a friendly. We’ve looked like world beaters in previous pre-seasons and then turned out to be absolute w*nk when the season has actually started.

    I just hope it was due to lack of ability rather than mentality i.e downing tools...... I wouldn't expect a league team no matter what division suffering a scoreline like that.

    We weren't playing a top premier league team and we aren't a poor league team...... I don't think

    Anyone remember when Alfreton beat Wednesday 14-0?

    Not a surprise to anybody that Alfreton are now a top end League 1 side and Wednesday are struggling in the National League north



    Edit: if this actually happened, does anyone seriously believe we put a strong team out and that they were trying? Or are we forgetting that we played Leeds literally last season and were unlucky to lose 3-1?

    To be fair, we could have been using this to just try loads of different things and change up the players and formations every two minutes and never actually played it like a real match.

    Love how we could lose 20-0 or 25-1 and nobody cares :D
    Is it possible that the players didn't get to grips with new tactics today?
