    A goalkeeper on loan from Middlesbrough. Not a bad shout.

    141 appearances for Walsall at our level. Joined Northampton before Middlesbrough came calling.

    Some great saves there with some ‘Routine’ ones as well. Wonder why if it’s a kind of promotional video why they don’t show any footage of him taking crosses and generally commanding his area?

    No idea, it's all I managed to find. Northampton fans absolutely loved him based on what I've seen on Twitter. A lot of similar comments from them about Roberts as I saw from Bradford fans talking about Harry Lewis when we were linked to him.

    Could definitely do a job for us. I thought that he was a stand-out keeper when with Walsall and then Northampton. It looked a good move for him to go to Boro, but he has hardly played. That video is a pretty good summary of the keeper I recall from various tv games. He will be short of match practice and will need to get to full fitness, but a sound keeper for sure.

    Won golden glove, northampton player of the year and got in team league of the year before he joined Boro so definitely has something about him!

    They train all day everyday for the wonder saves.. not impressed by the one's 'for the camera'

    I’ll worry about 24/25 when we get there rather than worry about whether we get him for more than one season.

    This lad looks a real good signing, a proper number 1 prospect with Killip here as an experienced pair of hands as backup.

    Imagine signing a 28 year old experienced performer with way over 100 senior appearances (in this league and the one below) from a championship club. Not very Barnsley…

    Better signing than the lad at Bradford I’d say. At least as good.

    Also encouraging that we are linked with a goalkeeper with a better pedigree than we have as well. Like the sound of this if it comes off.
