Hopefully once we're back watching the optimism will come again. All this behind closed doors stuff means a disconnect with the team. Maybe the open day will have us all buzzing again!
Last season our strikers were Norwood and Cole. They're still here. Our midfield was Connell, Kane and Phillips with back up from Benson, Russell and Wolfe. They're all still here. Our wing backs were Cadden and Williams. They're still here. Our most improved player, Liam Kitching, he's still here. We've sold Andersen and Collins. And that's changed us from a Championship side to an Academy side?
Digital ticket buddy and this will be my third season with a carer and car park pass. First time I’ve had a problem
Weirdly, this chaotic pre-season has got me even more excited for the first game, based mainly on being unable to predict what the fu¢k might happen and what the team might be.
It's obviously an exaggeration but probably the fact that we've brought no one in when the season is little more than 2 weeks away is behind the OP's feelings. Duff leaving, the lack of signings, the lack of communication, the cancelling of friendlies, the EFL charges....all these factors don't exactly breed confidence for the coming season. A couple of decent incomings this week is what's needed to lift the mood but will it happen?
Still only had one out of two tickets sent. Come on Khaled, if you all pull together abd try really reeeeallllyyyy hard you'll be able to manage it, I've got faith in you. Come on lad you can do it. Ps, you'd come across as a lot less ignorant if you actually replied to the emails sent.
I didn't mean specifically I meant the club and they may have had a lot of emails for the fact that they have sent out season tickets to other people or email means they've read those emails they could have sent out a automatic reply to everybody but didn't instead they just sent the tickets again we've no acknowledgement or anything
This is true. Changing the subject slightly, this season ticket communication has put the icing on the cake for me. I've lost all interest. I hope this changes when the season stats, but I'm just not bothered any more.
I checked with my dad, he had received his to his own email so I must have provided it at some point in the past. Tickets printed out wallet sized and laminated as back ups if phone dies so I’m all ready to go.
Mine are both for me. It's the regular season ticket and the carpark season ticket. I didn't get any so I emailed and told them that "I haven't had my car park digital ticket yet or my normal seating digital season ticket either. My client reference number is xxx" I received no acknowledgement of the email but suddenly had my seat ticket emailed out to me but no carpark ticket. I genuinely don't know if it's gross incompetence, a shameful lack of giving a toss or even worse, some kind of sick game being played at the club of how much can they alienate supporters now that they've got our money in the bank. Regardless though it's really not good enough and either Khaled needs to start kicking some serious ass with whoever is in charge of communication or his employers need to look extremely carefully at his continued employment. It's been one pr disaster after another since he rocked up here and the buck either stops with him or he does something about it quickly.
I guess they pressed whatever button sent the non received season tickets and they still need to do the same for car parking ones. The emails will not have had anything to do with that as everyone who was waiting received it at the same time, so it wasn’t them working their way through emails. Do you know if anyone has got their car parking one yet? I have no idea why communication has been so horrendously bad. It just makes no sense to have not put out even one simple line apologising or at least clarifying when people should expect to get them.
My 1974-75 season ticket application form has just arrived, by carrier pigeon. I think his name was Speckled Jim.
