    Have the club actually confirmed we were even in for him or is it just the Twitter and bbs boys that have linked us with him? The reaction over a lad from Halifax is absolutely ridiculous……the abuse I’ve seen aimed at JAQ and Kahled is a joke…….I’ll leave it there a think

    Doug confirmed the deal broke down. It seems like the assumption online is that this is the players decision for some reason and the club have somehow screwed up. Of course, that may not be the case. Collins talks in his interview that reasons should be kept confidential in such situations for players benefit (or something like that) which suggests to me it might have been our decision not to proceed for some reason.
