Grow up ffs I swear he just copy and paste the same crap every day. Then when people disagree, people like you say this rubbish as though anyone else isn't allowed an opinion. Same rubbish every day.
Don't you think that he/Donny is maybe on a fishing trip ?. And he keeps on catching some superb little tiddlers, who can't resist a bite or two!.
No I didn't- and if the performance was good, then that's great news. Any comments on the points raised in my post?
2 cancelled friendlies - wow, big deal! EFL sanctions - concerning but we'll prob get a fine similar to Birmingham did. Season ticket shambles - not really is it? I appreciate not everyone has received theirs yet but there is over 2 weeks till first hone game. Ring the club if you haven't got yours. Shambolic home shirt? Your opinion. I think it's **** too but they got massive amounts of media coverage and will may boost wider sales. Think everyone needs to chill out a bit and see where we are after a few games.
A lot of common sense stuff from the positive posters in this but I do agree with you. I’m half empty at the moment though! I’m not sure we’re cancelling friendlies due to Collins wanting to have more time, he HAS to have more time on the training pitch to blood the under 23’s who are inevitably going to be part of the Port Vale game due to the lack of first team players we have at the club. The window is the biggest concern for me. We’ve lost seven loan players, most of them knew we didn’t have a chance / want to bring back yet we’ve acted ridiculously slow. A centre half alongside Lopata should have been in the building ASAP. Andersen was always leaving and Thomas was only coming back if we went up. Yet we’ve held on for another non league defender, which has fallen through anyways. And I’m sick to death of people saying the window doesn’t finish until end of August. We would have played six games by then. I don’t expect us to be anywhere near top six to be honest. I think a mixture of a slow start to the window and an inexperienced appointment will kill us. I have faith in Collins but it’ll be a long term project for him and the club. By the time we’ve settled, it’ll be January again and another two or three might walk out the door.
Maybe I do need to chill out - but the stuff you've responded to has just been brushed off as "wow big deal", when they are concerns of plenty of folk. Care to list some positives that'll whet my appetite for the season?
Is that what we want on this board? Folk trolling to get bites? Pathetic. Why do you think Tykesmad ended up in the state it's in?
Whether you're positive or negative regarding the club, certain facts are inescapable. Our business model will not allow us to be a viable Championship club. We find it impossible to retain good coaches an players - so we are constantly returning to square one. The ground is decrepit and access/parking are a shambles. Loyal fans will disregard these facts. Those of a more questioning nature will find them a disincentive to attend. Neither way is right/wrong. You pays your money (or don't) and makes your choice!
I guess you'll be including me in the loyal fans camp Orsen. Yet I find little to disagree with what you've said. If someone comes up with a better option I'll go along with it.
Yes, mate! And me in the more fickle camp. (Although I'd call it 'discerning'!) But as I say, neither is right or wrong - it's what you are happy with.
I never called you fickle or similar. In the end it all comes down to money and there seems to be three options. Make our own which is what we've been trying to do for a good ten years with varying success. Gamble a little by splashing some cash but then if it fails be prepared to expect some very serious consequences in terms of downsizing. Find somebody mega rich who wants to throw their money at us.
