I was in Germany a couple of weeks ago and got asked to sing "Lady in Red" to a table of 6 ladies on a hen night. Fortunately I'd had several large beers beforehand. Needless to say it was a fine evening from that point on.
Easy to pick me out. I’m the fat bloke waddling down ponty rd on my knackered knee after a home game, with a fifteen year old lad who’s essentially a younger and thinner me propping me up EDIT there’s also a pic of me on here as my avatar anyway…
Me and Micky Finn outside the West Stand catering, Morecambe at home, last season. Roll on the Olive Bar.
I think the average poster on here will be between 50 and 70, grey and thinning, and a bit overweight. And that's just the women .
When our kids were little, we bought them a Wii console and as part of setting it up, we all created our lookalike game players (Mii's). To this day, the kids insist that my Mii is a perfect rendition of myself. Except that he's not, of course, because while I've turned grey and my hairline has receded, he's not aged a bit. I hate him, the permanent Peter Pan pixelated pillock, running around the tennis court like a young gazelle, while I struggle to get to the wheelie bin and back without limping. Anyway that's what I look like. A geriatric version of my Mii.
I was once approached by a bloke whilst on holiday a couple of years ago. He'd mistook me for a former footballer. Steve 'ugly' Ogrizovic, former Coventry goalkeeper. Which was a blow as I always thought of myself as a handsome chap.
Long time since we last met old pal. Either Refearns or a dingy old pub near Valley Parade before the JPT run? Hope you are well and looking forward to another season following both your favourite team and the Arabs
Think it might have been in Bradford mate. Not sure about the new season. Both of us seem to have problems. My lot up to now P2 L2. Club apparently in freefall. Dreadful start to our season. Hopefully BFC get a better start. It could be a very long and bumpy ride.
