I agree. Don't understand the stick he got from some people. His goals for minutes ratio was very good, and he's got a proper turn of pace. I'd certainly rather see Watters back than Tedic.
Yep, I'd be happy to see Watters back and given a run in the team. He never had a run of games and yet still had a decent scoring return.
It's rare we sign loanees in the modern day. There is a player in there. With Jalo knocking on the door, Norwood, Cole & "Oil" Shaw, would that be enough up top? Who knows? Pretty sure we will be tight at the back & have a driving midfield, so may be an option. We won't have a lot of money to spend on a proven striker by the looks.
I reckon we might have a bit JP. Anderson cash plus Collins and probably Styles. Not enough for a proven scorer probably. Enough to make some useful addirions though. Time will tell.
I've no idea really, same as most of us. Strikers are the hardest to get & we did well last season with a fairly weak strike force, although Cole & Norwood did add a decent number. If we are going to go with wing backs we need to strengthen there IMO, as I reckon Williams will be gone with one year on his contract. Centre midfield looks strong & if we sign Deborah, so would be CB. Wait & see, I guess.
From the article... "The Reds are also hoping to bring in a centre-back from overseas on a permanent deal, now they are able to sign players from EU countries due to a relaxation of post-Brexit rules."
I see the lad from Halifax who some fans were bemoaning that Lincoln were blowing us out of the water is not signing for them or Walsall or us so it looks like there might have been some dodgy practice by an agent which might just have back fired somewhat , he will obviously end up at a club somewhere but its not as straight forward has some thought on here when the club were getting blasted for not getting the deal over the line , it is always worth biting your tongue for a while as things always come out in the wash eventually .
