Is there to be any coverage anywhere, tweets, reports or owt... Is it still 3pm, is it still on.. anyone Sorry to get in the way of the political stuff.. .
I think we will beat them. They will be tired from their hard fought 0-0 draw last night, which had out the full first team https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2023/july/21/report--fleetwood-town-0-0-rovers/
Thinking the rain will see the cricket off. Not looking for steams but not seen anything from the club or local journos.. Anyway been on Blackburn Twitter and they still think there's a game on today.. so should get a bit of team info off them and up dates.. Bit like the chamber of secrets this end .
That looks a pretty good side to be fair. A few more signings for a bit of depth is all that's needed.
Connell, Cundy, Norwood could all come in and improve that starting line up. Benson and Watters to add greater depth as well as any other new signings to come. If Styles stays i can't see where he would get in the starting 11 which says something about our midfield. Promising young defenders with James and Shepherd.
I thought he was OK, scored a few, played better st the right of the back 3 before Thomas came and the 2 young lads who have just joined have loads of potential but would be a risk to through them in from the beginning. Anyway I know you would be cheering Cundy on as you do with them all
Think about how many are missing from the matchday squad though (assuming we keep hold of all of them): Williams, Cundy, McCarthy, Iseka, Connell, Benson, Wolfe, Jalo. Granted some of them are fringe players or still have to prove themselves, but I very much doubt our bench will look anything like that come August 5th.
Good to see Nathan James getting another start. I wonder if we didn't realise how good he actually was, and have decided to give him a go this season rather than signing Debrah, now we've seen him train & play. Bobby Hassell really rates him.
I thought he was excellent in the previous match, bud. Only seen limited game time obviously but can see why he'd be impressed!
