Tbh I dont watch much football other than tarn. But having watched glimpses of the England ladies over the last few yrs. They look well below their normal standard.
Haiti ranked 53rd in the world.

Look a bit shaky at the back especially on the counter and not clinical enough in front of goal. Created some good chances but the finishing isn’t what I’d expect

Decision making is shocking. Goalkeeper booting it straight into touch, Kelly there being greedy and taking a shot she'll never make.

To be fair though a lot of the men's opening games at tournaments have been terrible, it's like we need a game before getting into our stride.

Use common sense ,the goaly once upon a time couldn't move before the ball was kicked.
Everything is black and white with VAR checking.
It's become painful ,just award the goal if it's a foul in the box then.
Don't penalise the goaly they have not got much chance as it stands.
Yes she did move forward of the line before its kicked ,but the striker should still finish from that range.
I've never missed a penalty in my football time.
Come to think of it I never took one

For all our pressing their keeper hasn’t had to make a difficult save. Ours has

Pre match odds England 1/100 and Haiti 125/1.

You wouldn't know it watching the game.

Yeah, Haiti had two or three really good chances. Two good players in Dumornay and the keeper. I thought England were a bit sloppy at the back but moved the ball well going forward without having the killer final pass. Haiti did well. What I took from the Australia Ireland game plus a few other women's games is that players can look good when not playing under pressure but under challenge their composure disappears. I thought England handled the ball a lot better in tight situations. I guess that there are still some big disparities in the levels of players in the women's game at the moment.

I wondered what mi bro had got int carrier bag at time. Mi football boots.

Glad I went int end. Beat City 2-0, big crowd. Great atmosphere that day.

I thought England were miles away from where they are going to need to be to progress to the end of the tournament and were bloody lucky to escape from that game with 3 points. If they don't up their game considerably they won't be troubling the QFs
