A must see film, a few Oscars on the way for this the guy who plays Oppenheimer was outstanding. Cleverly done and a bit tricky to follow,hi max might improve the experience though. 5 star.
Can't wait to see it - Cillian Murphy is the guy. From Peaky Blinders, 28 Days Later, Dunkirk & Inception amongst plenty of others, brilliant actor.
I have seen Dunkirk and inception but can't remember him. Robert Downey junior was really good too. These people are on a few levels higher than the average Joe for thinking.
Saw it at the Parkway on the 70mm film version at the weekend. Place was full and the film was superb. Acting performances were outstanding
Will wait until it’s released on demand, can’t be sitting 3 hrs+ at the Cinema, my bladder wouldn’t be able to cope!
3 hours long, last time i saw a 3 hr movie at the Cinema was Schindlers List, was listening to some radio yesterday and it got some great reviews obviously 1 or 2 saying it was too long but enjoy, an tek a pack lunch could end up costing you a fortune.
Might wait while it comes to penistone with half time break - watched a documentary on youtube about him, interviewed in 1950s. He looked a broken man. The Government tried to put it all on him and his team as to whether to drop the bomb. They created it, its use was a political and moral question
Booked for Vue at Donny on Saturday. Couldn't get last weekend, everywhere was full. Looking forward to it.
Going tonight to the Red Carpet at Barton Marina, down the A38 just up from National Memorial Arboretum.
Murphy played the soldier they picked up in the boat and then killed the young lad when he pushed him in Dunkirk.
Just got in from the showing of the 70mm tape version at parkway, brilliant film, and the introduction the gent from the cinema gave into the relevance of the 70mm film, especially regarding C hristopher Nolanwas also very interesting. Great venue in town and a reason to be proud of the area
What's the significance of the 70mm? l've found films in the Parkway a tough watch, small screens and below par sound. We did use it though until the new one opened.
Saw it at the IMAX today. Good film. I have read some reviews saying it’s his masterpiece. All I can say is fancy having film reviewers who’ve never seen The Dark Knight! Seriously though, it’s a good film, if somewhat overpraised, with some great performances and it will take something special to beat Murphy come Oscar night, but it’s not a film I’ll ever watch again, like I do with Inception and the Batman trilogy.
