Like I say, I haven’t seen it, but I’m sure there’s a very vocal account on Twitter run by some cretin who’s slagging off JAQ and accusing the club of all kinds of slanderous crap.
I saw someone on Twitter ask JAQ whether the women’s team is self funding or whether funds from the men’s team will be helping subsidise them.
I’ve been a critic of the silence from Oakwell but thank them for this……..just one thing “But let’s go back to Wembley.”……NO let’s get automatic.
Pointless statement really, pretty much what I thought it would be. They have obviously felt forced into releasing something but I probably wouldn't have bothered, we really are dealing with amateurs here which is very concerning.
I've not seen any negativity over that. I know Sunderland supporters on their forum were when they were talking about their women's team last season.
People that are open to listening to the board and are generally glass half full will think it’s a good statement. Those that have already made their mind up and decided the club will be in administration in 6 months will think it’s lip service and won’t change their mind.
I agree - my first thought too. Got to be ground-related. There is other news about the council debt, so maybe we are buying the entire ground under one umbrella?
