I'm really not on the ball. I've only just realised this is on. England playing in a World Cup, at a stadium literally within walking distance of where I live and I'm watching it on the telly. Haha. Seems like it is a sell out so at least the atmosphere will be decent.
It would be good to have a men's World Cup in Australia. That way all the games would be on when I'm at work or in bed. Really have got less and less interested in International football as I've got older. As for the women since they won the Euro they don't seem to be the same team. They look more pragmatic and have started resembling the men's team.
I'd be all for renaming Australian places with their traditional names. The Kaurna name for Adelaide, Tarntanya sounds like someone who would be dancing too enthusiastically on Hedomism dance floor every Saturday night.
