Anyone been to one they’d recommend in Yorkshire or within say an hours drive?

“The Greek” on Hessle Weir. The sharing platter is excellent.
Also, have a search on here for a recent-ish thread on the same subject.

There’s a good one at Ossett:

Been a couple of times. Alternatively there’s the Delphi in Wakefield which is excellent too.

Recommend both - Delphi a little more rustic bit food superb.

Not sure that is still going TBH. Santorini in Headingley is good. Greek / Turkish is how I'd describe. The small plates are great. I went there a couple of months ago.

On a similar note if you’re ever in Perissa on Santorini take a long walk south beyond all the other bars/restaurants and keep going
There’s a small place with no menus just an invite into the kitchen where they’ve got turines of Meze which you can have some of everything and then the old bloke in there opened a fridge and pulled out the biggest black bream I’d ever seen which served four of us.
It was the Greek experience I’ve craved for years and was as cheap as cheap can be.
    Wish I was there now.
