    They don’t want him to play in front of another younger forward because he does not have any resell value. All about making money they don’t give a crap about us they just want to make as much money as possible!

    If - and its a big if - this is the reason, then they've learned absolutely nothing from Conway/Lee's approach.

    They didn't give him a new contract. They activated the option for an extra year, like they did with Williams, Andersen and Collins.

    This whole thing only makes sense if they plan to bring in an equally good striker.

    Fast-forward a year from now, Norwoods 33, out of contract and if we are promoted will be deemed not worth keeping.

    If they’ve got someone lined up who can score 15+ in L1, who’s younger, on a longer contract and who can get better with age then I can forgive this, anything else it’s a disaster
