    You can spin it how you like to back the club however 2 days before the start of the season there isn’t a chance we should be letting our main striker leave before having something lined up.

    Just trying to make sense of it. It's possible you are right and it's a big mistake. It's possible that we don't miss him. It's not Mbappe we've sold.

    Different scenario. Kane has been Tottenham through and through for years. He doesn't seem to be the kind of player who will down tools or cause an issue for the sake of a move.

    Norwood has little or no affinity with BFC. We're just another club paying a journeyman his wage.

    I didn't want him to go but to suggest that the club held all the cards if he'd decided he wanted to move is wide of the mark.

    I see why it works for Norwood, but that shouldn’t make any difference IMO. He’s a professional footballer and had only signed a new contract weeks ago. If the Club have willingly agreed it, it’s bordering incompetence for me. It’s clearly not in our interest to lose him. If Norwood has started playing silly buggers to force the move, then I’d say we need to know, otherwise Khaled should expect to take the flak for it.

    I'm as surprised as anyone, but maybe they think they have better options available/incoming? Maybe they don't think they'll get as much out of him this season. Maybe they are right? Maybe they aren't? It's certainly a bold move. Hope we get a result on Saturday or the crowd might start to express their feelings over this one.

    Hope you’re right mate. I always try to be balanced and give them the benefit of the doubt, but decisions like this just utterly baffle me. Even if they had someone lined up, I still wouldn’t be letting him go until the new man was through the door. All this has done is weaken our squad further, add more pressure on the other strikers and create more unrest with fans, less than 48 hours from the start of the season. We should all be buzzing for Saturday. Not this.
