    OK. Keep a player that doesn’t want to stay. See how far that goes. Disruptive and a waste of money.

    Put him the reserves and fine him? Yeah, ok. Waste of time and money and becomes a bad apple……

    I agree that this is most strange, as there is no doubt that James had a lot to teach the younger ones and was also an experienced hand in know-how when it comes to getting and making goals. Big miss. I note that Collins likes to play with a big target man who links up play with the midfield and wing backs and scores a fair share of goals. While I would have thought that this was a pretty good description of James, there may be others who are available and I don't think that any of our current strikers fit the mould. A player who is still available as far as I know and who might fit the bill and is the right age, would be Arran Pressley at Brentford. The club have said that he is available and would probably cost around £300k, but he could do the job. Surely we have been canny enough though to line up a replacement already. Haven't we???

    Come on.. we're not going to sign anyone. We have Cole 28 Watters 24 Shaw 25 Dallas24, there's your experience. And if one of them gets twenty goals dont get too attached cos they'll be gone next summer, as sure as night follows day.
    They'll all get minutes until Collins finds two that click.. plus Marshy Jalo and Dyer...

    From the text you posted it says “too far away” from the squad. Losing 1 probably accounts for “too far”. He’s also not likely to talk about transfers before they’ve gone through as any snags could be hit to make him look foolish. Best not to comment I’d say.
