They are just not saying anything about anything. We have been waiting over 6 weeks for some massive news we were all going to like, we are still waiting. They want us the fans to get behind the club and they can't even get the team shirts in the shop for open day, a hell of a lot of season tickets didn't even work properly for the crewe friendly.. tickets for the tranmere didnt go on sale till less than a week before the match. We are like a team living in the dark ages
If the big news is, as someone has hinted, that the council are looking to buy the ground from the Crynes, which means the club can never be moved from Oakwell would that be big enough good news for us?
Maybe the reasons they're not universally liked are, From the Wembley trip Head Coach gone Goal Keepers gone best defender gone best striker gone we only need one of Connell, Phillips or Kane to go before the window shuts and we've got the full set. Add to that the low rent replacements we've signed and the Mystery as to the boards lack of support ain't that deep.
Ill just pop this here, again, from the open letter from the board last Friday. Should we expect daily updates?
Mostly because selling Oakwell would be the only way to afford it I would say. The land is the only thing of value in most clubs.
A lot of that is day to day operational stuff though. Not saying it’s good enough, but that’s different to comms. The big news thing has just got out of all proportion for me. He should have just never said anything in the first place. I’m sure he wishes he never had. I can absolutely guarantee you, whatever it is, there will be a section of fans who will complain and say ‘is that it!?’
Exactly thanks to our humble custodian the clubs worth ferkall and the one thing he safe guarded is what people are squabbling over.
When the Council sell the whole ground to Tesco and we have nowhere to play and are sharing with Rotherham.
Have you actually read the chron article? It’s been replied to you several times. Genuinely what more do you expect him to say?
I’ll stop posting then… I’m sure IF the above is true it’s taking a while to complete and perhaps the timescales have shifted since he originally announced it. Perhaps if the Crynes sell the ground to the council then they can afford to buy out Chien Lee and Conway completely. It’s all guesswork, my question is whether we think that wood qualify as big good news.
I think unless we're bought out by a rich oligarch the council will sell the ground and land to the highest bidder most likely for affordable housing.
I have read it many times like i have read a lot over 70 years i have been supporting the reds and they only tell you what they want which is nothing most of the time. And i am sorry but my opinion of this ceo is he is useless
