For all those happy clappers defending Norwoods departure, just remember he came on at half time at Wembley and was the best player on the pitch,so what he might not be able to last a full game, well then who better to play 60 minutes or come on as a sub to turn a game around.Surely it's more worthwhile or cost effective to keep a player like this on board than let him go,Marsh and Jalo are just not ready for this standard of football
Yeah if your not throwing toys out of cot then your a happy clapper. We should have given him a chelsea style 7 year contract based on his best 45 minutes in a barnsley shirt at Wembley.
By happy clappers you mean people who are realists and judge on facts and logic I presume. The facts in all this are a bit thin on the ground beyond his departure. There's not much logic to be seen at the minute in allowing ourselves to lose our best all round striker from last season.
I’m liking that Mr O ….I’m definitely in the “Positive Thinkers” camp, it’s probably down to the fact that I’ve more important things going on in my life than to get angry about a footballer going to another club,
i think its a good alternative name than those others …… unhappy flappers im in the unhappy clapper camp. Just keep missing my hands.
It's ridiculing people for supporting the club. And yet supporting the club is supposedly the one thing we all have in common. It's postmodernism gone mad I tell you.
both ears are burnt. Picked iron up instead of phone and burnt left ear. Right ear because i had to ring the ambulance.
I would class myself as an eternal optimistic, not a happy clapper! Rather than thinking the world will end as soon as something hasn't gone as I would like. Rather than giving up thinking the world with end. I rely on hope and optimistic things will work themselves out. Gutted Norwood has left. One of my faves. But trust Collins. If Cole, Watters and Dallas all ahead of him. Now a veteran at 32 in final few years as a pro, the lad will want to play. Move provides security longer term deal for him, locally based club (close to home, and family. And unable to drive so travel must be ball ache) and dropping down a level he can finish career on a high (big fish and little pond). From club point of view don't want an unhappy player and assume he would be one of higher earners, therefore if we get him off wage bill if may provide opportunity to strengthen.
