    I think I’ve mentioned before, but that day taught me something that at the time shocked me to the core. As me and my dad walked up through the back yard I expected us to be greeted like conquering heroes, with my mum, my sister, my grandparents all wanting to know about all the goals and the thrashing we’d just dished out. A hat-trick from Sniffer, a brilliant free kick from Ally, there was so much that they’ll want to know about.

    Except they didn’t.

    “Mum, we scored 6!!!”
    “Oh, that’s good. Take your shoes off and go and sit at the table, tea won’t be long”

    “Nan, 6-2!!!”
    “6-2 what?”

    Yep, I learned that not everybody’s life revolves around Barnsley Football Club, and there were even people who didn’t care. Shocking.

    Looking forward to see how the new gaffer shapes up and to paraphrase a well known Ayrshire phrase definitely "Say Aye tae tha' Killie Guy"

    It's almost a lottery prediciting early games in the season but I think our best form of defence in the early part will be our attack and I think we'll win by a couple of goals.
