Not even named on the team pages on the website for either the first team or u21s, and he’s on the bench today… Also, that bench looks awfully weak to me. I know we’re missing Phillips and Connell, and De Gevigney is to come in, but even still, it’s a worry.
Missing McCarthy, Cundy, Benson and Wolfe too. Wouldn’t be surprised if we brought another 3/4 in, mainly on loan, before the end of the window.
I see Luke Armstrong at Harrogate has made himself unavailable for selection today due to a number of bids in for him. Wonder if we're one of them.
All true and valid points, todays bench does look threadbare all the same. Do we know how far away they all are? McCarthy and Cundy should be there or thereabouts shouldn’t they? Where is Wolfe with his knee, and how long is Benson out for?
It's also a scandal that possibly one the highest if not highest paid players at the club is again not deemed worthy of even a place on a very weak bench by yet another head coach how many is it now 4 or 5 who haven't fancied Iseka even as a sub when we are desperate. The club should have just cut it's loses months ago and got shut he can't be a good influence around the squad.
If James Norwood ended up at Oldham, Iseka would struggle to get a gig for Penistone Church. Even if we still paid his wages and taxi’d him there every week. He’ll end up away on loan abroad somewhere again, we’ll have to pay the bulk of his wages again, and this will continue until he’s out of contract.
The club cant cut his losses if another club doesn't bid for him mate. He has to accept taking a wage cut if we agreed mutual termination.
If there's no intention to play him and he hasn't even made the bench today so there can't be. Just pay him off and get him out of the club he can't be good for team spirit just stealing a wage while the rest of em work for it.
For a debut, and from a team called Pontefract Colliery (or summat), he was superb. You can tell you'll get 100% effort from him every game
