I’ve seen a few comments on here about this, people saying we should sign or shouldn’t sell a certain player as we have this money to come from Manchester City. What is this actually based on other than a couple of Twitter rumours? I’ve personally seen nothing to say there’s legs on this story? Happy to be corrected of course.
Allegedly, Everton had a clause in the contract of sale that said they were entitled to more money for Stones if he won the UCL with Man City. We have a clause that we get a percentage of any profit Everton made on the player. But like you say I haven't seen Everton formally acknowledge any money they are receiving and neither would I expect them to or their fans will want them to buy James Norwood.
When we sold Stones to Everton we got 15% of any future profit. So if they have profited from clauses they made with City, we get 15% of that. Speaking of Stones.... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...winning-Man-City-manager-transformed-him.html
375k 500k for Duff was it? 3.5 million for Anderson Few hundred thousand for Collins 300k for Norwood Nearly broke even.
Half of them only take in considering the transfer fee i.e duff mate, others include fee and wages saved i.e Norwood. Honestly I don't think any of us have any idea generally!
