Luke Armstrong at Harrogate has made himself unavailable for selection today due to a number of bids in for him. Wonder if we're one of them.
My mate who is a Harrogate season ticket holder reckons he’s the absolute business, I’ll do some research as I know quite a lot of town season ticket holders!
Done decent last couple of years, not great before that for Salford & Accrington. I don't know how players have the nerve to be 'unavailable for selection' when they're under contract. So disrespectful, if one of our lads did that we'd be livid with the club, ironically. Don't want him, don't like his attitude.
I'm quite chuffed with what we've got. I was wanting another centre half, midfielder and forward but in League 1 legs gets you a long way. Shepherd and Lopata look the part and Russell was immense. Small mention for Watters put in a great shift. Putting his body on the line and making unselfish runs whilst Port Vale were in the game.
Striker isn't he? Do we really need another striker? Watters didn't look great today but was impressed by Shaw and dallas
Not sure what I think about this…… If he acts like that with Harrogate, he’d act like that with us too. Presuming the club have agreed he can leave with a good offer, He should play and give it his all - the rest will take care of itself.
He’s dogs business Spends most of the game concentrating on fouling the opposition ctr half’s as he’s not got enough to beat them in the air. Rumours that a couple of Scottish clubs have bid for him. I for one hope he goes north of the border.
Hope not. Don't want anyone who gives it the big un by failing to honour their contract. If they do it to one club, they would do it to another. We needs lads like Mads who instead of throwing his teddies out of the cot, gave his all to the very end even though we all knew he wanted to leave to play at an higher level.
A fairly average centre forward, from what I have seen of him. It would just be adding one more to an already capable squad. I'd stick with what we have for now and let's see where the next few weeks take us.
Went to a few Harrogate games last season, he's reasonable & puts himself about but I don't think he'd be good enough for a team aiming for promotion to the championship, which is what we are.
