So it wasn't a sacking, he's done a 'Duff' has he, and accepted an offer to join a bigger club.
At first I thought that's stupid, there's no logic in sacking him, especially when you see how well Feth are doing at the top of the table.

Not gutted at all to be honest it hasn't been much better then McDermott last season, too much to explain on here but we move on. Supporting Reds un Rovers isn't easy lol but got to stick at it.

He's off to Warrington by all accounts, nearer home and mutual consent will let him go and probably save Fev some compensation.

What happened with McDermott? The success he had at Leeds albeit a while ago now I'd have thought he'd have stayed this season. Apologies as I'm not that up on Fev.

Well apparently last season Wakey had more injuries than any other team, in the world, ever!! lol. And they were going to surprise everybody this season.
And as for Cass, it sounds like there's some rats running around in their little tinpot jungle. :D

It was awful to watch dreadful rugby, left best players out week after week and in semi final against Batley left 4 of our best players out,why would you do that ? Before he came he coached Toronto ironically against Featherstone in the play off final and stated Featherstone shouldn't be allowed in SL and not just Featherstone. Then he took the Featherstone job - CRAZY! He was a right miserable sod as well.

If top of the league won promotion I’d say it was a crazy decision. But end of day promotion comes down to one game. At the moment we’re a team playing awful rugby with no creativity. Grinding out results against far inferior teams. just bigger players barging over line.

we’re just so disorganised, with strange team selections . Anyone who saw Longs interview before game yesterday would have seen how absolutely clueless he is. I actually thought he was drunk :D.

Certainty wouldn’t be confident winning playoffs the way we are playing

What's his reason there, is he saying the Feth ground or the club aren't up to SL standards ?.
And bear in mind, they allowed Toulouse in!!.

It hasn't been very enjoyable was it Andy, i always thought Longy wanted winding up. Ford was always going to get the job imo.

Do you think Ford will give you a better chance of winning the play offs? From the outside looking in, seems an odd move. Not seen much of the championship this year (don't have Viaplay), but wondered whether the issues might be more with recruitment than coaching. Saw somewhere that Aetkins has played stand off and centre recently, when he's an out and out full back. Maybe his contract would've been better used elsewhere for example.

He's a good fullback but Karelia is better, tried him at s.o but he's tried but not a s.o , Long wasn't happy when Ford came and Chisholm, they wernt his decisions, end of the day we arnt playing well despite being top, but it's about money un all imho.
