I`ve had a season ticket/pass since before 2009 - is it true that as I`m 60 next February I`ll qualify for a concessionary pass next season? TIA
According to the qualifying criteria for this year's season ticket, yes. https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/tickets/seasonticket/frequently-asked-questions/
BFC changed the rules for concession tickets some years ago. It was 60 year olds and above but then changed to OAP dates. I’m not sure when this happened but I’m guessing early 2010s. If you were a season ticket holder when they changed the rule and maintained your season ticket since then they will honour the old rule. You just need to ring the box office and they will confirm your dates. Hope this helps.
I did this last season - Just emailled the box office when renewal came in and checked - they had proof of long standing ST holding and just needed me to prove my age which I did with a Driving licence. Changed my category to Senior ( sounds better than O A P ) and I just renewed at the concession price. It was really simple to do and the box office as always were happy to assist
I think if you call it a season pass you actually get a life ban. That's what I heard from Box Office anyway. Could be wrong though
